Most certifications of NIWS are mandatory in nature for watersports operation, Pool operations, Water-theme Park operations etc. In the absence of trained and proficient operating personal, it is illegal to organize recreational watersports or operating swimming pool and waterparks.
The swimming pool and water-theme park owners are bound to appoint the personnel trained in Life Saving Techniques (LST). NIWS, being the only Institute of this nature in India, there are plenty of job opportunities to the trainees passing out from it. Many trainees also get attractive overseas offers including from the Middle East countries.
